Ph.D. student recruitment

Dr. Jiujiu Yu from Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is recruiting highly-motivated Ph.D. students for Fall 2017. Dr. Yu’s laboratory mainly focuses on chronic inflammation in obesity and obesity-related diseases. We are interested in understanding the effects of dietary molecules and environmental cues on chronic inflammation in the context of obesity and obesity-related diseases. The candidates with research experience in cell biology, molecular biology, metabolism, or immunology will be preferentially considered. Previous experience with mouse models is highly desirable.

Department requirement:

Grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Preferred minimum GRE scores: 140 Verbal; 144 Quantitative; 3.0 Analytical (writing).
