Dr Grégoire Herzog (Researcher ID: B-4398-2013, ORCID : https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1932-9300) is a CNRS Research Associate at the Laboratory for Physical Chemistry and Microbiology for Materials and the Environment. He has published over 50 research articles in the field of Electrochemistry and Analytical Chemistry and he is an Associate Editor of RSC Advances for Electroanalysis and Sensors. Dr Herzog has supervised 8 PhD students (5 completed and 3 in progress).

A brief description of research interest:
When aqueous and organic electrolyte solutions are put in contact, they form an interface which can be used for the electrochemical study of ion transfer from one phase to another. This liquid-liquid interface has been at the centre of research interests of my group since it offers unique opportunities to investigate electrochemical processes of non-redox active species. The proposed research project will focus on the development of electroanalytical applications for ion transfer at the liquid-liquid interface. The student will receive training in modern electrochemical methods in addition to a range of physical chemistry techniques (e.g. Infra-red and Raman spectroscopies, atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, XPS…). 返回小木虫查看更多
