Responsibilities:
1. Identification of new opportunities using organic chemistry technology to contribute to IFF business requirements;
2. Development for new synthetic route or new process from lab to plant scale to win new business or keep our product portfolio competitive in the market;
3. Designing, Planning, Executing, and Tracking experiments and analyzing the results efficiently;
4. Improving existing processes for cost reduction;
5. Coordinate with the other departments to implement new technological approaches;
6. Track plant process performance, assist production department to resolve the process issues efficiently;
7. Draft and update standard operating procedures for production use;
8. Maintain a safe and tidy laboratory and keep lab equipment in good condition;
9. Implementing temporary tasks and other works from Technical Manager.

Qualification
1. Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Preferably Post Doc or equivalent experience in organic synthesis area;
2. The ability to develop robust and efficient experimental plans that can provide timely technical solutions to meet commercial opportunities;
3. Strong lab working skills in organic chemistry;
4. Good English communication skill;
5. Be able to manage multiple projects at the same time;
6. Possessing good interpersonal and communication skills;
7. With good organizational and planning skills;
8. Strong Team player.

Extra Requirements & Other:
1. Knowledge or experience in fragrance product and technology is a plus.
