The major area of research will be welding (including Friction stir welding) （焊接，也包含搅拌摩擦焊）technology for advanced high strength and light weight materials especially for automotive application and all other areas. Students will be qualified to a MSc or PhD degree in Advanced Materials Engineering as per their candidature.  Students are expected to be able to formulate research proposal and publish research papers in academic journals.

Eligibility: For Masters and  PhD:
        Holding Bachelors or Higher Degree on Materials & Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering.
        Should have reasonable CGPA in the last academic level.
        Satisfactory score in any International English language Competence Test e.g. TOFEL, IELTS or TOEIC.
Financial Support:
1. For PhD Candidates: Full Tuition fee and stipend will be supported.
