两个月还没有外审，时间有点久了，可以写催稿信了，楼主可参考以下模板：
Dear Prof. ×××:
Sorry for disturbing you. I am not sure if it is the right time to contact you to inquire about the status of my submitted manuscript titled “Paper Title”. (ID: 文章稿号), although the status of “With Editor” has been lasting for more than two months, since its submission to journal three months ago. I am just wondering that my manuscript has been sent to reviewers or not?
I would greatly appreciate if you could spend some of your time check the status for us. I am very pleased to hear from you on the reviewer’s comments.

可以写信催促。

我之前投初稿过去的时候，也是with editor 了一个多月。 另外， 在我修改稿投回去的时候，一直with editor了快2个月了。关键是两个审稿意见都很positive，我就很纳闷， 写了信，问她是否收到了我的修改稿，结果编辑告诉我，不知道为什么Elesiver 的投稿系统，没有给她提示收到修改稿。 她回信的当天，就送出去第二轮外审了。

我每次催促，都不会写很长的邮件，一般就两句话，我投了贵刊一篇稿子，题目，编号，不知道您是否收到，我在系统里一直看不到状态更新，烦请check.
