Description: Post-doctoral positions are available immediately at the laboratory of Fangwei Shao, Ph.D., at Nanyang Technological University, Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. The project is to develop new strategies of fabricating DNA hydrogels and the applications to many biomedical technologies. The candidate will required to conduct the sysnthesis of organic, inorganic compounds and oligonucleotides; characterization of physical, mechanical, chemical, biochemical and nanomaterial properties of DNA hydrogel with variety of bioanalytical, biochemical and nanotechnological methods. Further exploration of in vitro cell biology/bioimaging and in vivo xenograft mouse models will be required too.
Requirements: Ph.D. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry and bioengineering. Research experience in DNA nanotechnology and with related assays/instruments will be highly appreciated.
