审稿人说楼主的修改回复和修改稿页码行号对不上，差不多超前了一页。比如你修改回复里说第三页改了啥，审稿人在第三页找不到，得到第四页才找到，类似的。还有，没必要一条意见感谢一次。

审稿人说文章的页码和行号对应不上，没法查看做了哪些修改。They were about a page ahead指的是页码和行号差了一页，比如，楼主说第5页，行号166修改了什么内容，结果审稿人发现行号166在第6页，
你改的内容人家找不到对应的位置，1楼2楼都说的很清楚了，我也不多说了。
另外不用每次都感谢审稿人的评论。太假了。
感谢审稿人在第一句说过就行了，说谢谢意见帮助提高稿件质量。有可能是审稿人word版本跟你不同，导致你俩看到的页码不一致(平时我们打印东西有时就有这问题，在其他电脑打印。发现格式变了)，可以把word自己编上行号，页码肯定有吧？然后转换成pdf格式，这样页码就不会变了，跟编辑说修改的行号和页码参照pdf。
