阿肯色大学MENG教授招收具有电化学/导电材料/纳米材料/新型电池研究背景的学生
Dr. Xiangbo (Henry) Meng is an Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Arkansas (Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA). Dr. Meng’s research features nanosynthesis using atomic layer deposition (ALD) for novel nanostructured materials, but has great interests in other synthesis methodologies including various solution-based methods, chemical and physical vapor deposition. Another feature of Dr. Meng’s research lies in design of high-performance electrochemical devices for energy conversion and storage, especially new battery systems using lithium, sodium, and magnesium. Dr. Meng is enrolling two PhD students in Energy Materials for Advanced Battery Systems for Spring 2017. A successful candidate should have experimental experience either in electrochemistry (battery assembling, electrochemical testing, and data processing), or in nanosynthesis of novel nanomaterials (inorganic or organic). The two positions will receive exceptional trainings in materials synthesis, electrochemistry, and battery design. By conducting
collaborative projects with Argonne National Laboratory (IL, USA) and Brookhaven National Laboratory (NY, USA), the students will get accesses to utilize world-class facilities (such as synchrotron-based techniques and high-resolution electron microscopies) and opportunities to work with many of the most brilliant scientists for high-impact research. To be fully considered, potential candidates should also meet the minimum requirements on GPA and English proficiency
(TOEFL/IELTS, and GRE). If you get interested, please send your inquiries to Dr. Meng’s email box: xbmeng@uark.edu
欢迎有相关背景的同学及时联系,联系时附上个人最新的PDF英文简历, 发表过的paper等与研究相关的个人材料。Prof. Henry MENG很热情,发的邮件都会及时回复。
