find it+adj.to do sth.意思:发现做某事是……(翻译形容词)的,it是形式宾语,用法:it +adj. to do sth.可以看作是动词find的宾语。
最后,我们发现在半个小时内完成这些工作是不可能的。

如果加is 就变成宾语从句了
