editor 给我写了这段话、
"I am recommending a Major Revision. I encourage you to think about and respond carefully to these issues and also to work on improving the write-up of the paper, if you choose to revise and resubmit option. All the best."
我不清楚的是：“also to work on improving the write-up of the paper”，有个朋友说是你写作写得不够好，我理解的意思是，write-up不是指的写作，而是指继续做完你的论文，这个意思。
英文理解的不一样。哪个是对的呢？求大侠指正。

个人认为，此处的write-up指的是文章整体价值的提升。因此，编辑的意思是二者兼而有之--要求楼主修改后的手稿在学术上和写作上均要比原来的有所提高，
就是提高文章质量，包括语言，内容
