投了一篇Elsevier的期刊，大修，最后期限快到了，今天天收到主编的提醒信息：

Dear Mr. XXX,

We recently wrote to you regarding the revision of the above-mentioned manuscript, which was submitted to the XXX. To date, we have not received your revised manuscript.

So that we may keep your file open, we would appreciate your letting us know if you plan to submit the revised version within the near future.

When submitting your revision online, please include electronic source files for the text and figures that can be used for publication should the manuscript be accepted. These files should include the text, tables and figure legend in an editable format (MS Word, WordPerfect, LaTex) and all figures saved individually as TIF or EPS files.


请问：

1. 有没有回复的模板啊。最近几天正打算提交修改稿。

2. 最后一句话，是不是说图片只能是TIF（针对word）或者 EPS （针对Latex）格式的？
我的图片基本是用matlab生成的，然后copy figure到word的，请问这样处理可以么？
