大家好，小硕历尽千辛万苦写了一篇文章，纤维素相关，所以投了cellulose，这个期刊呢，cover letter是有模板的，其中有这么一句话真不知道是什么意思，有大神帮解释一下不~~~“explain the objectives of the study (some research is descriptive but when appropriate, a hypothesis statement can be very helpful in this regard) ”


由于我没有理cover letter中这句话，所以投稿4天，编辑给回信中就有这么一句话“ I miss any statement of hypothesis; inclusion of a concise, clear, declarative statement of hypothesis would be important for improving the paper.”小虫我水平有限，实在不知道怎么改。
