关于ACS 旗下期刊投稿过程中 supporting information这部分的具体格式要求。
最近投了一篇文章至 ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering，投稿时附有希望公开的supporting information文件，主要是用于进一步说明的图片。
Journal Office Administrator指明在accepted之前需要作如下修改：
Please note below the SI information we still need in the manuscript.
SUPPORTING INFORMATION.
If the manuscript is accompanied by any supporting information for publication, a brief description of the supplementary material is required in the manuscript. The appropriate format is: Supporting Information. Brief statement in nonsentence format listing the contents of the material supplied as Supporting Information.
本人第一次投ACS的杂志，对格式要求不太明确. 之前投稿时已按照投稿指南的要求“A one- or twophrase description of the SI section should appear in the main manuscript immediately after the Acknowledgments”撰写了这一部分。 故目前不太清楚上述的修改要求具体指什么。是否指在manuscript中还需添加一个类似于目录页的部分逐条列出supporting information的图片内容？还望各位指点。

可将一些不太重要的结果，或支持正文结果的中间试验内容放在补充资料（SI)中。

第二页开始
每一页只放一张图或表格，按S的顺序编号。如Figure S1, Figure S2......, 要有图注。
但不需要在文本中进行描述，应在正文中对相关Figure S进行描述（写上见Figure SX).
SI的图不需单独上传。
谢楼上二位的回复。SI 文档自身是没有格式问题的，其第一部分是公式推导，后面全部是图片。上面提到“Please note below the SI information we still need in the manuscript.”这应该是指在manuscript中还要稍作修改吧？目前就是不太明白这一点，具体需要再manuscript添加什么？
另外，上面给出的修改意见，最后一句-----下面【】内的是否指在manuscript中需要添加内容的具体格式？这是添加在manuscript中引用每一个SI中文件时随后添加这一句，还是指在manuscript最后逐条列出SI中的内容？

楼主你好，本人第一次投稿，在投ACS杂志中，投稿选项有supporting infomation for publication 和 supporting infomation for
review only 那自己的SI应该放在哪里呢，是手稿中还是 这两个选项里面哪个
supporting infomation for publication和supporting infomation for review only的区别就是在论文录用的前提下，前者会随着正文一同公开，而后者不公开仅用于论文评阅
