急！！！scientific reports催稿信是在send manuscript Correspondence发送吗？

assigned to editor都一个月了，没有任何动静，审稿人都没有，寻思发催稿信，求助是发给scientificreports@nature.com还是在系统里send manuscript Correspondence发送？？
求有经验的大神们指导，不胜感激！！！

我上次直接将催稿信发到了scientificreports@nature.com，一天后不给了回复，都是很客气的套话，没多大意思。催了后差不多2个星期后才有变化。现在也处于assigned to editor。SR太慢了。
这是SR回复的邮件：其实SR是很缺少编辑的。
We have, unfortunately, had a rather hard time securing a handling editor and as such, have not found the right person to take your paper yet. Please accept my sincerest apologies – I can understand how frustrating this must be for you and your co-authors. All our editors are made up of an external board of volunteers who are specialists in their field and they have the option to decline manuscripts if they are not able to handle them at the time.
Please be aware that this is not a reflection of the quality of your manuscript – we are currently finding that many of our editors are very busy and due to the time of year, many of them are away，

系统内发催稿信一直提示没有选择收件人怎么回事呢，催稿信发不出去
