Brief Job Description:
Our lab is interested in understanding neurological disorders related to inflammation, including schizophrenia, affective disorders and stroke. The lab has developed several transgenic mouse models that exhibit various behavior deficits. We are seeking a PhD graduate student to conduct electrophysiological studies to further investigate neural circuit deficits.
The lab is equipped for molecular & cellular biology and has 2 working patch-clamp recording rigs. The lab’s current research team includes 1 PhD student and 4 postdoctoral fellows, each specialized in Electrophysiology (patch-clamp recording), Immunology, Molecular biology and animal behaviors. The expertise and collaborative lab operation provide a great opportunity for trainees to acquire diverse training and techniques.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
Candidates with prior training in Neuroscience, in particular with electrophysiology skills. Potential bonus stipend will be considered for candidates who are proficient with patch-clamp recording.
Benefits and Opportunities:
Minimum Stipend of $21,000.00 per annum.
