Position:  Postdoctoral fellow in Medicinal Chemistry, under the supervision of Dr. Jian Hui Wu, Lady Davis Institute, McGill University, Montreal, Canada. This position is available immediately.  

Project description:
Our laboratory has multiple ongoing projects: 1) Identification and optimization of novel inhibitors against multiple clinically-relevant mutants of drug targets, such as androgen receptor or KRAS; 2) Identification and optimization of chemical compounds as immune modulators, such as agonists of human STING; 3) Repurposing of off-market drugs for new indications.  Our laboratory includes three components: structure-based drug design, Medicinal chemistry and biological evaluations. This postdoctoral fellow is expected to optimize the initial active compounds by Medicinal chemistry and will also get involved in drug design.   
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is interested in drug discovery and is ambitious and self-motivated. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, which was obtained in 2015 or 2016.
