The Multiplex Biotechnology Laboratory at SUNY Albany is seeking one or two highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in the area of immunoassay, biosensor and microtechnology, starting immediately as early as June 2016. The potential postdoc will work on research projects related to immunoassay, biomedical microdevice and single-cell systems biology for disease diagnosis and treatment. Research directions include exploring bioengineering and micro-/nano-technologies for emerging problems in cancer biology, immunotherapy, infectious disease, and regenerative medicine.

The postdoctoral researchers much have extensive experience in immunoassay, biosensor and/or microtechnology, who should have demonstrated ingenuity, productivity, and ability to work in a diverse, high energy environment. Prior research experience for this position is required, and other experiences in microfluidics and nanotechnology will be a plus but not required. Salary is between 36K and 40K per year and is commensurate with research experience and ability. We expect the candidate can make significant contribution to our multidisciplinary team.
