If you are able to add anything about the release of phosphorus and its activity in the gas phase, it would be nice to resubmit your revised paper.
There is currently enormous pressure on space in PDST, due to the very large increase in submissions in recent years.
At the moment we are forced to decline 60-70% of all papers submitted to the Journal in order to avoid unacceptably long publication times.
I therefore regretfully reject your paper.
