The Hongwei Duan lab in the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at Nanyang Technological University invites applications for postdoctoral positions in calculation and simulation of the properties of plasmonic nanomaterials using FDTD, FEM, TDDFT, etc.

The successful candidates will play a leading role in our development of plasmonic nanomaterials for a broad range of applications. Postdoctoral candidates should have extensive experience and deep understanding on the structure-property relationship of optically active nanocrystals. Our research is highly interdisciplinary across nanochemistry, bionanotechnology, and nanophotonics. The candidates should have a demonstrated excellence in original research with good publication records. The commencing salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience, and the term of contract is one year initially and renewal up to three years based on mutual interest. Self-motivated individuals with strong, relevant research records and training are strongly encouraged to apply.
