查了smart materials and structures的文章，technical note文章很少，就几篇，不知道是不是不好录用啊？

technical note 通常是创新性强，但是研究结果比较初步的那种。

Brief articles which are more technical in nature and which make a useful and novel addition to the literature.

SMS对于paper的描述：
Reports of high-quality original research with conclusions representing a significant advance in the field.

SMS对于letter的描述：
Outstanding concise articles, reporting important, new and timely developments. These articles should be deserving of priority review.
