编辑反复要修改highlights，该如何是好？
我投到journal of molecular liquids的一篇文章（之前该杂志接收过我的两篇文章），小修，将修改意见返回后，编辑说highlights格式不符合，”The Highlights do not meet the requirements. Please amend your Highlights so that they consist of 3 to 5 brief bullet points which convey the core findings of your work. Please ensure EACH bullet point does NOT exceed 85 characters (including spaces).“
我按照要求，重新修改了highlights。
给出三条本文的亮点，每句话控制在85个字数以内。
将修改后的highlights重新返给编辑。
可是编辑依旧给了上次一模一样的修改意见

昨天我只好又重新提交了一次，今天再看，依旧说我提交的不符合。
而且，说我的递交过期了。
Current status: Submit Resubmission(02/May/2016 )
Resubmission Due Date: 01/May/2016 (1 day overdue)
这该如何是好？

85 characters - 不是字数。（每句话控制在85个字数以内）。
2楼正解，要求是每个要点控制在85个字符之内，楼主误以为是字数了。已经错过了提交修改稿的时间，楼主要尽快给责编写信说明情况，请求打开投稿系统提交修改稿。

我是控制字母数（包括空格）在85个之内的。
