HKU, Faculty of Medicine. Neural Engineering Laboratory. Professor Hu's research group plans to recruit a RA position.

Research Assistant I/II (holding the functional title of Medical Electronic Engineer) in the Neural Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology (for 12 months from as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement)

Requirements: a university degree with second upper honour or above in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Biomedical Engineering/Rehabilitation Sciences.  Those who have interests in pursuing further studies in the Department are preferred. The successful applicant should have 1) capability of development of FPGA and embedded system, or 2) development of medical electric circuit, or 3) biomedical signal processing. The appointee will work on genetic and epigenetic researches in translational and tradable medical engineering.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

Duties: assist in projects related to medical device and biomedical electronic study.

The employment will be started as soon as possible in 2016.
