英语较差对主编说的意思不是十分清楚，请大神指点

就是说你应该
1.修订后的稿件和原稿的不同应该显著标志一下，比如加粗字体或者高亮改动之处；
2.你应该对编辑的改动意见给出反馈（比如说明一下自己改动了哪些）；
3.你应当删除投稿系统中多余的稿件，你的revised 稿件也应该被尽快的提交；不然，超过规定时间，你的修订稿将会被当作新的稿件来审定
我也遇到一样的问题。请问一下修改稿是什么意思？
我理解的有两层含义：一是我需要在latex里改，把改动的部分再用高亮标记一下，这样在编译好的pdf文件中就会显示出来改动的部分; 二是不需要在latex中改，只在pdf文件上标记就可以了。
我不太清楚是那种理解？求大神解释
