Your visualizations must be associated with a figure, table, or equation OR be referenced in the results section of the manuscript. 没有遇到过类似问题，不过看说明 是因为你的补充材料里的visualizations 和data files 没有在manuscript里编号并标注。应该是每个补充材料都要先在原文里引出，并编号标注在需参考位置：如： “Visualization 1”, “Visualization 2”, 或 “Data File 1”, “Data File 2”,

If uploading your revision in Word format you will also be given the opportunity to upload the source files of your artwork in eps, pdf or tiff format. 第二段是关于图片上传的说明，如果上传的事word版本，除了在Manuscript插入图片以外，还需要单独上传每个图片的源文件，格式可以是eps，pdf或者tiff，对图片的相关要求参照他给的网址. （统一图片宽度8.4cm，分辨率600dpi） 如果你跨两栏的大图宽度限制在14.6cm以内
