1.Meteorological data used in the analysis were monthly means for temperature, relative humidity, and rainfall.  While analysis using these categories of weather data are generally adequate for many statistical processes at local levels, it is not clear how representative the data are for the large area of this study.  For example, how many reporting stations were used for the "high resolution" weather data and do these reporting stations reflect meteorological conditions in the area of swine farms?

2.Also, how much variability was present in the weather data used?  Can you justify using only mean values in your analyses when measures of variability may also be important?

So if climate is similar in all these provinces why is there variability in the temporal (e.g. annual) distribution in the six provinces shown in Figure 1.  I don't see where this spatial-temporal variability is addressed?
