1. The paper was not in the correct format for review. Please send me a paper for review that has double spaced  single column text, figures and tables at end, and continuous line numbers in a single pdf file. DO NOT protect the file (it makes it hard for the reviewers).

2. To have a paper reviewed for possible publication in G&G you must confirm that:
(1) the work submitted has not been published previously* (except in the form of an abstract or  academic thesis),
(2) is not under consideration for publication elsewhere,
(3) its publication is approved by all authors, and
(4)  if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the Publisher.

* If there is more that 25% overlap with any other published or submitted paper please provide a copy of that paper.

3. It is important that papers published in G&G be as up-to-date as possible and so please carefully check past issues of related journals such as:

and reference all recent relevant papers published (i.e. those published in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 - including those "in press" but on the web)
NOTE: it is not sufficient to just look at G&G -

4. ALSO send the names of FOUR (4) possible reviewers with expertise in the field together with their contact details including e-mail addresses and reason for suggesting them.  You do not need to know the reviewers  - just know that they have the expertise to review the paper.  They should not be colleagues or people with whom you have published or have any other conflict of interest.
