出事了，该怎么办？
前几天投了一篇论文，AIP的physics of plasmas，今天被拒了，编辑说和以前我的论文有重合，怎么办？会影响以后投稿吗？或者有其他什么影响吗？

别挺他们瞎说，这只是流程问题。任何拒你的信都有让你写response的机会。没关系的。放心好了。
可是这次拒绝明确了是因为significant textual overlap with previously published papers。不回应一下，也没关心吗？

这句话就一定要回一下说明一声，而且要所有coauthor共同回复，可以考虑弄个PDF的回复，然后所有作者签字就行了。编辑的意思就是我们期待收到你和你的共同作者对于这个问题的答复，以帮助我们更有信心的处理你未来的投稿稿件。 不答复这个刊物以后基本就可以不用投了，何必断自己一条路呢？
答复就说实在不好意思，未能仔细检查和修改重复的地方。对可以解释的重复予以解释（比如某些算法的描述，多篇文章是可以重复的）。望认真对待这个问题，祝好！
谢谢详细解答，已经在准备回复了。用查重软件查了一下，论文引言部分和计算方法部分和自己以前的两篇文章有些重复，也没有标参考文献，这个是主要问题。现在已经重新组织语言修改好了，查重结果为6%（不包含基金资助和参考文献）。
认真解释回复一下编辑，是不是还可以重新投这个期刊？另外，对于重复的解释有没有比较详细的一些技巧什么的？

对于此次投稿来说，你回不回应已经没有什么影响了。此事算是告一段落。
但是确实你们一群co-作者，甚至单位给他们留下了不好的印象。你们若是在这方面考虑，写个道歉信说明原因，哪方面疏忽了。也不是不可以。
