I am very interested to work in the area of traditional medicines and environmental contaminants, such as from industrial activity. I am a Professor in Environmental Science, and I run an analytical laboratory at Macquarie University in Sydney.

Please be aware that Macquarie University has one intake for international students per year, and the scheme opens around July. To be awarded an international scholarship is competitive, and you will need;

        • A Masters degree by research (that usually means at least half of the Masters is thesis) with an average grade of 85%.
        • A publication in international journals. Local journals often do not count for very much. The clear message is: please publish in the international literature if you want that publication to help your career.
        • Great references from people you have worked with.
        • Prizes and awards certainly help.
