elsevier修改稿，图片上传问题
投了一篇elsevier，编辑很好，小修。关于图片上传有些迷茫，请教各位大神。
Manuscript and Figure Source Files (mandatory)
We cannot accommodate PDF manuscript files for production purposes. We also ask that when submitting your revision you follow the journal formatting guidelines. Figures and tables may be embedded within the source file for the submission as long as they are of sufficient visual quality. For any figure that cannot be embedded within the source file (such as *.PSD Photoshop files), the original figure needs to be uploaded separately. Refer to the Guide for Authors for additional information.
他说图和表要插入到source file 里（个人认为是word），后面又说原始图片要单独上传，那岂不是图片要传3遍？手稿一份（压缩过的，文件大小5M），source file 一份（word自动压缩的，压缩程度小，文件大小50M），TIF格式单独上传，总大小53M。

发现个问题，For any figure that cannot be embedded within the source file (such as *.PSD Photoshop files), the original figure needs to be uploaded separately. 对这句话理解有误，他说的应该是不能插入到 source file里的图片才需要单独上传。那么手稿里的图片要不要删掉呢？我是修改稿，
其实，推荐你单独上传原始图片文件，如果你想在原文里面插入图片，那么图片质量要满足期刊要求（譬如分辨率要求）。tif文件一般都很大，可行的处理手段是存成pdf，图片大小就会降低很多了。
