内容介绍：

批判理论是指任何同时是解释性的，规范性的，实践性的和自我反思性的社会理论。批判理论的一个重要特色在于它不是某个具有明确的所指界限的理论，而是一个理论的“群”。所以，很难给批判理论下一个明确定义。基于该理论对社会结构、群体文化、自由与解放的关切，笔者对批判理论的涵义作如下概括：批判理论是指通过揭露制度和文化中的霸权对畸形社会（如奴役、不平等、压迫等）的制造和复制，启蒙人的自觉、反抗的意识和能力，以获得自由、解放的理论。其中，霸权即特权群体通过能够行使权力的各种机构，尤其是政治、司法和教育制度，来维护其对其他群体统治地位的方式。
