跟这个教授联系了有2个礼拜了，来回也写了3-4封信，昨天晚上上到她的来信，因为我跟她的研究方向还是有些出入，我的方向偏多糖，她的方向偏脂质，虽然都是天然产物和生物资源方面的。她这封信的意思，是不是我的计划写的不能满足她课题组的需要，她就可能把我Pass掉？我该怎么回答她，难道说，服从她们课题组的一切安排。需要注明的是，我现在博二，已经投了两篇文章，估计明年走的时候能达到学校要求的3篇SCI，所以就算不做博士课题也不至于影响毕业，但就我个人的想法还是希望能把课题继续深入下去。对方学校是全球排名50-60位，在大专业里排名前三，这个教授也非常出名，请各位帮我分析分析，拿拿主意。非常感谢！

Dear XXX,

I talked briefly with professor XX from our department.  
She is an expert in polysaccharides, their modifications and analysis.  
My research is mainly focusing on other components (like phytosterols  
and other lipids, lipid oxidation and antioxidants, vitamins from many  
point of views). We ´discussed that if we find a plan which is ok for  
you and is also in our interest, we could welcome you if you get that  
scholarship from China. Perhaps we both (me and XX) could  
be involved in supervision.

Currently our univerisity does not have any tuition fee.

How should we continue? Should we try to write the plan now?
