Encourage or Discourage Private Automobiles
As an updated product, the invention and production of automobiles have greatly pushed forward the civilized development of human society. With the development of modern society, automobiles seem to be indispensable to people’s daily life, especially in developed countries such as the U.S. and Japan. For the time being, many Chinese people can afford cars. But in my opinion, the number of automobiles should be strictly controlled by the concerned agency of the government.
First, automobiles may bring inconvenience to our life. China has a large population. If every person or every family owns a car, the traffic will be even heavier. The energy consumed will be even more. Second, automobiles have brought about the problem of pollution, which seems like a symbol of modern civilization. Automobiles are giving out a great of fume. some actions should be taken immediately to control the number of automobiles. Other wise, there will be a more crowded and smoky world in the near future.
Yet the many advantages of automobiles should not be ignored. Private automobiles should be encouraged as long as immediate and effective measures are taken to solve the existing and potential problems，
