The traditional synthesis of benzoxazole method is based on the o-aminophenol with carboxylic acid chloride, esters and aldehydes, such as reaction, the catalyst used in most of the complexes of precious metals such as Pd, Au or Ag. At present, the benzo-o-aminophenol and nitrile as a raw material to build the benzoxazole derivatives uncommon reported in the literature, this article uses cheap trifluoromethyl sulfonic acid copper as a catalyst, one step starting from o-aminophenol and Nitrile constructed oxazole derivatives, mild reaction conditions, is not sensitive to the air without inert gas protection. The method is suitable for a wide range of both aromatic nitriles or fat nitrile can be smoothly reaction.
