This chapter will introduce the case study methodology; it will later include the basic outline of the BPR technique as a change agent. The relationship between the management and the academic side of the business operations was used to demonstrate how the sample population was selected, how the data collection process was conducted, and how the fundamental requirements of a proper research methodology were satisfied. The final section of this chapter will outline the approach to data analysis. Implications of a social research will go above the scope of any single research paper and this attempt to synthesize acquired knowledge in a coherent document should not by any means be considered complete. A power of scientific inquiry is the building block of our civilization. It is undisputed fact (Creswell, 1998, p. 6) that each discipline can further divide usability of the qualitative research traditions into more applicable categories. Social science (Denzin & Lincoln, as cited by Creswell, 1998, p. 6) has been traditionally broken into a number of categories which include a case study as a crown jewel of the qualitative research methodology. |
