投BT的论文审稿意见，major revise，大家帮忙看看呢

第一次投稿，BT杂志，编辑和审稿人给的意见如下，是大修，大家帮忙看看接受的概率大不大啊，还有感觉第二个审稿人貌似对文章很没兴趣，希望虫子们广发意见，谢谢！ We have received reviewer's reports on your above manuscript. They indicated that it is not acceptable for publication in its present form. However, if you can suitably address the reviewers' comments (included below), I invite you to revise and resubmit your manuscript within 30 days. If you are submitting a revised manuscript, please highlight in yellow the changes made in revised version and also: a) outline each change made (point by point) as raised in the reviewer comments AND/OR b) provide a suitable rebuttal to each reviewer comment not addressed I look forward to receiving your revised manuscript. Yours sincerely, Reviewers' comments: Reviewer #1: The authors have done good work. However, some points are required for further declaration and more discussion such as: 1- stabilisation effect of susbtrate in the reuseability study 2- Thermal stability, poly MAA is known for its thermal precipitation sensitivity where it starts to precipitate at 70 oC at neutral pH. At acedic pH the thermal sensitivity is higher. thermal stbility of immobilized enzyme at higher temerature may be due to precipitation of carrier in part. 3- pH stability, copolymer conformational changes which may has protective action for the enzyme active site!!! Reviewer #2: Synthesis of another immobilization support, even if it is a smart polymer, is hardly exciting unless it confers some very interesting and desirable property on the enzyme in a rational fashion. The MS may be of some interest to polymer journals which publish such immobilization work. As authers are aware, Taniguchi et al reported similar study way back in 1989 on cellulose hydrolysis. Reviewer #3 This is a paper with new material for end use in biotechnology fields. To justify the publication of this paper in BITE, the authors should demonstrate clearly the use of the new material in applications. A sufficiently long testing period with activity recovery should be practiced to demonstrate its value. Control tests without immobolization should be conducted as well. Then this work should be resent for publication with a new run of review. |
