Reviewer #2: This article discussed the electrochromic device caused reflectivity and emissivity change for various reasons. on the whole, I think the content of clear thinking, integrity is better. on the whole, I think the content of the article clear thinking, integrity is better. The manuscript should not be accepted at current version.
1.Why you show the reflectance curve of the device at -0.5V and 0.5V, but no 0V in Fig 2?
2.I don't think that "the reflectance of the PANI/PE composite film under different potentials has no discrimination in the mid-IR region". I think there is obvious difference between them.
3.You prove the PANI film is doping state at 0.8V by FTIR-ATR measurement with many paragraphs, it's too long.
4.If you unify the space of abscissa of Fig5 and Fig6, it will be better.
5.There is only one reference published after 2009. More recent references should be analyzed and cited.

Authors are made device of PANI using electropolymerization technique and it is interesting work for electrochromic devices and application in IR region.

1)        In Experimental, " The electropolymerization solution comprised 1M sulfuric acid
           and 0.5M aniline monomer Please explain more details of Experimental section and more scientifically.
            What is working window for PANI during deposition, scan rate, bath temperature, etc.? are they recorded CV during deposition?

2)        I think authors may tried to deposit PANI in different oxidizing agents such as ammonium peroxidisulphide (APS)???

3)        What is mean by PES???

4)        Are they checked Raman of deposited PANI? If yes, please add.

5)        In fig.5 FTIR-ATR spectrum of the electrochemical polymerization PANI on PES/Au substrate for which potential????


6)        What is the thickness of thin film of PANI??

7)        Please provide FTIR-ATR spectrum for -0.8V, 0V and +0.8 V.

8)        At 0 V and 0.8 V, the emissivity of the device in the 8-12 ¦Ìm region is almost the same and high, while the emissivity is the lowest at -0.8 V, which is consistent with the reflectance of the device. Why?

9)        I am still confusing, PANI/PE composite film accord well with the reflectance and emissivity of the device. It composite or layer by layer deposition??

        Moreover, the paper is poorly written and has numerous grammatical mistakes. Please check the manuscript by corresponding professor. Hence the paper will be acceptable ¡°After Some Modifications¡±.
