Reviewer #2: -Why to choose the A2CoNbO6 (A=Ca, Ba, Sr) as a material system of this work? The related references must be cited.
-I am unconvinced that  the  anomaly  is associated  with the  transition  of carriers from localized to free  leading negative capacitance only by those data,  something  similar to the electronic ferroelectricity but not a typical relaxor ferroelectricity behavior. The author must provide more evidence to support it.
-Please cite more related references.




Reviewer #3: The authors report dielectric anomaly in Ba2CoNbO6 ceramics, on which topic the authors have recent discussions (cited reference 21-27). They conclude based on temperature dependent dielectric measurements, which is the novelty in this work, that one of the relaxations (low-temperature one)is a Maxwell-Wagner type caused by the surface-layer effect; while the other (high-temperature) is due to the hopping of oxygen vacancies. This is in sharp contradiction with their recent paper in J Am Ceram Soc (Cited ref 23)concluding that the low-temperature relaxation is polaronic from the hopping of self-trapped holes whereas the high-temperature one is a Maxwell-Wagner relaxation caused by the grain-boundary response. The authors provide evidences for their claim. £¨PS£ºref 23ÊÇÎÒµÄÎÄÕ½²µÄÊǵÍÎÂÇø¼ä£º190K-330KµÄÁ½¸ö³ÚÔ¥¹ý³Ì£¬¸úÎÒÏÖÔÚͶµÄÕâÆªÎ¶ÈÇø¼ä²»Ò»Ñù£¬ÏÖÔÚͶµÄÊǸßÎÂÇø¼äµÄ330K-500K£¬¾õµÃÉó¸åÈËζÈÇø¼äû¿´Çå³þѽ¾Í¿´ÕªÒªÁË£©

However, I would suggest the possibility of a phase transition [Journal of applied physics 94, 3451 (2003)] also, which could give rise to dielectric anomalies.

Reviewer #4: a-Your paper is interesting and there are some new informations about dielectric relaxations of the Ba2CoNbO6 ferroelectric ceramics.
b-You have found interesting results that two relaxations: the low-temperature relaxation- Maxwell-Wagner relaxation caused by surface-layer effect and the high- temperature relaxation is attributed to the hopping of oxygen vacancies.
c.Besides,the dielectric anormaly located at 485K is associated with transition of cariers from locatized to free resulting negative capacitance someting simalar to the electronic ferroelectricity but not a typical rexar ferroelectricity behavior.
To me, this study is new and good.
