Where food remains are not preserved, δ13C  measurements should be made on modern plants and animals  that were likely to have contributed to the diet and from the  same locality as the population under study in order to estimate  possible ranges of dietary δ13C values.。。这个句子咋翻译啊，句子结构怎么划分？？附件是我自己划的，又觉得不对。。。。

对于现存食物未被保护之地，应该将那些来自同一生活区域并很可能对饮食结构有促进的现代植物和动物作为研究种群，对其进行δ13C（同位素13C值）测定，以估计饮食中δ13C值的可能范围。
