Skopos theory was born more than 40 years ago. With its influence expanding rapidly, it has become one of the most important translation theory (PI an Yin & Wu Qi, 2014:107). Its core concept is that the purpose of the overall translation constitutes the key factor in the process. Taking film subtitle translation as an example, its puurpose is to let the audiences to understand the content of the dialogues in the film, to appliciate the charming of the movie. Therefore the process of translation is not only the conversion between two languages, but also a purposeful translation to target the audience who speak the target language. 最后一句有难度 |
