【求助/交流】大肠杆菌BW25113基因型意思？ 已有5人参与

各位虫友好： 大肠杆菌BW25113 网上查的genetype 是∆(araD-araB)567, ∆lacZ4787(::rrnB-3), lambda-, rph-1, ∆(rhaD-rhaB)568, hsdR514，想请教一下，∆(araD-araB)567表示什么意思？ 谢谢！ PS：我知道BW25113不能降解阿拉伯糖，∆（araD-araB）应该表示araDAB 缺失，但567实在不知道什么意思，是不是什么编号之类的？ [ Last edited by 望月台 on 2010-7-27 at 21:10 ] |

BW25113 is a derivative of the F-, λ-, E. coli K-12 strain BD792 (CGSC6159)[1], which is a derivative of E. coli K-12 W1485. According to the CGSC, BD792 carries rpoS396(Am), but this mutation is not listed in the published genotype for BW25113, as according to Baba 2006 [2], a pseudoreversion rpoS (Q33) allele was transferred from MG1655 into a predecessor of BW25113. BW25113 was used to make the Keio Collection of single-gene knockouts. [2] [1] Available from the Coli Genetics Stock Center: CGSC#7636 The genotype for BW25113 in Datsenko et al. [1] said the strain is lacIQ, but it was later shown to be lacI+ Baba et al. (Supplementary Table 1)[2]. According to the CGSC, lacZ4787(del) has 4 tandem copies of the rrnB transcriptional terminator inserted by gene replacement into the region extending from near the SacII site near the N-terminus of lacZ through the promoter.
