Éó¸åÈ˵ľßÌåÒâ¼ûÈçÏ£ºIn this article, the authors present progress in improving interface properties via multistep sintering of nanometer sized electrolyte and cathode materials. The enhanced oxygen exchange rate is verified in both measured impedance and electrochemical performance. The power density is significantly higher using the reported fabrication process, achieving > 1 W/cm^2 at 700 deg C. This article can be a good fit to Nano Letter if the following questions are answered:



1. Can the authors extrapolate the exchange current densities (j0) using Tafel equation, and compare the activation energy of the exchange current densities of the reference and new process? Would the enhanced j0 be proportional to the TPB or surface area change?



2. Any available data on surface area, such as BET or mercury intrusion? Any before and after surface area comparison other than SEM? This can be a good complimentary data to the SEM microstructure analysis



3. Any evidence to the enhanced performance is mainly due to (narrow down the main cause)

a. surface area enhancement

b. higher TPB densities (similar to a)

c. improved particle-to-particle contact

d. lowering onset temperature of Mn4+ to Mn3+

e. combination of above



4. The performance is very stable at high temperature and high current density. Any speculation why this would be the case? It¡¯s generally speculated that higher surface area will cause faster degradation in performance



5. Comment on the heat budget difference between reference and new process. This may be related to the cell stability
