本人做燃料电池测试电池的放电曲线，及电池电压与电流关系图，投稿后审稿人提出：“ the cell voltage should compensate the voltage due to the pH difference between the anode and the cathode. The authors should indicate the potential gain due to the pH difference, i.e., about 0.827V.”。因不明白什么意思，没有直接回答，修改稿投出后，审稿人又对该问题提出：“Please discuss the potential gain, i.e., 0.0591x14=0.827V between in an acidic and in an alkaline electrolyte in explanation of the cell performance in Fig. 14.” 。
