I wonder how many samples you have. if you design the experiment like this result data (alive ratio)= A treatment concenration= C sex= 0 or 1 0 1 c1 A1(alive/all from a group) A2 c2 A3 A4 c3 A5 A6 c4 A7 A8 . . . . . . . . . you can just use Manova , TWO factors (1th =treatment 2=sex) just compare the two groups (sex) result. however for alive ratio you may have to convert your raw data. eg. -logx for covariance equivalent . In MY opinon it is better to design like this. you get all your flies result as this (alive or dead) (1 or 0) then you can analyse their frequency. but with this design you'd better use Kruskal-Wallis test the goodness of this test is it dosn't need the prelimit of covariance eqivalent goog luck!
