我的论文审稿意见回来了，还有没有戏啊？ 已有3人参与

Review comments: The paper uses XXXX to study XXXXX. Some experiments (mainly simulations) are provided. I think the paper deals with a nice application of XXXXXXXX and, thus it could be of interest to the readers of this journal. However, I am not confident that it fits the (high) quality standards of this journal. A very hard work is required to revise it and I'm not sure that it can be accepted for publication. My biggest concern is about writing style and presentation. The paper is poorly written and in many parts it is hard to follow. While the idea of adopting XXXX model to study XXXXX is fascinating, it is hard to see how it has been concretely applied by the authors. The background discussion about the possible causes of railway faults is confused and it does not explain why XXXXX is a good tool in modelling XXXXX. Some details on the real case study coudl be useful. I would suggest to greatly expand this part by clearly pointing out how real-life criteria developed in the XXXX domain have been translated into features of adopted XXXXX model. The paper completely lacks a related work section so it is hard to see if other studies have been done in this research area and, then, to judge whether this paper actually extends/advances the state of the art or not. The equations presented in the paper are poorly commented and it is hard to check to what extent the differ from traditional equations developed within the XXX theory. Simulations are also poor and some of the presented results appear obvious. |
