[求助] 审稿人的意思看不明白?

" I can see there is good work behind the approach, however, I insist, the orientation of the paper needs to represent the actual results reported in the experimental section. Clearly, for real data, fine surface shape is not accurately recovered. The shapes of nose and mouth are extremely important indicators of a good reconstruction, just verify the discrepancy between the real and recovered noses of both subjects in Fig. 8. The authors do not discuss in depth the potential applications that (given the moderate results obtained with REAL data) their method would have, for example, avatar generation, 3D face tracking, head pose estimation. Again, I am not completely confident about the quality of the English language in the manuscript. It was hard for me to find the specific location of the correction to my comments in the paper, for example, the first major correction was explained as an answer in the response to authors, but it was not included in the paper (or at least I did not find it)."
特别是第一句话“the orientation of the paper needs to represent the actual results reported in the experimental section”，正如一个朋友翻译的“论文方向需要描述实验部分的真实结果”。但审稿人到底说的是什么意思？我始终整不明白？什么叫“论文的方向需要表达实际结果”，结果部分就是讨论的论文算法啊？为什么审稿人不说清楚些？到底他想说什么？

lz，我投过很多期刊，因此有跟审稿人打交道的经验，不过不是你的专业的，如果班门弄斧，或者说错的地方，请见谅。
1.你的文章并没有就你的实验数据展开讨论，或者是不是你讨论的东西夸大或者偏离了一点实验得到的结果（need to represent the actual results reported in the experimental section). 他举例说，用你的实验中得到的数据，并不能精确的还原(recover，你们这么叫吗）表面形状，他认为鼻子和嘴是评判脸部重建极其重要的指标，而你们在图8中，关于鼻子的实验数据和还原（或者模拟，拟合）有出入，需要修改图8.
2，他要你深入讨论你的方法的应用前景，不如可以用在人脸3D追踪之类。你可以找篇相关review看，然后总结一下。
3.你的文章需要修改英语（不过放心啦，我们组的英国女人还被批过英语很差）
但是你要注意，你在回答审稿人的文档中提到的对文章的任何修改，都要在正文文稿中highlight，并且在回答中列出你做的修改是在正文中第几页第几行，这样他就不会抱怨找不到你在正文中进行的修改了。还要他ms是抱怨你没有接受他的意见修改他认为要大修的地方（major correction）。
