请教：审稿人的这句话是什么意思

去年一篇文章投稿SCI期刊后，编辑返回修改，其中有条审稿意见为： 1.Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references (e.g. Blevins, 1979: "Formulas for Natural Frequencies and Mode Shapes", or offshore engineering publications); from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous. 不知道这条修改意见是什么意思。 from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous. 【从这个角度来说，该文的科学相关性？/科学适用性 应该更加明显些？】审稿人到底什么意思呢？请教各位大侠。 附审稿人1的意见： The paper is therefore of practical interest - particularly for engineers working in an industrial context - and is worthy of publication in Ocean Engineering. However, some amendment should be performed prior to publication. 1.Expression of the added mass/damping coefficients should be given in a non dimensional form, hence highlighting the geometrical/physical parameters of influence - this would clearly give a ground to the proposed simplifications in the application under concern. 2.Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references (e.g. Blevins, 1979: "Formulas for Natural Frequencies and Mode Shapes", or offshore engineering publications); from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous. 第二条修改意见什么意思呢？求教各位。谢谢 [ Last edited by ywl_5234 on 2013-3-21 at 14:28 ] |

其实不是这个意思。关于这一条，审稿人说“Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references”表明他认为关于added mass/damping coefficients for FSI的计算方法已有很多人作过研究，不是你的独创，所以你在叙述这个问题时不能把别人的相关工作略过不提（说白了，就是不要贪功），即“the scientific relevance of the paper（the paper指别人的相关文章）”。 如果你的方法确实有独创，那么可以把他们的方法提出来进行比较，那样你的独创点将会更为清晰。 |
