[求助] 请教:审稿人的这句话是什么意思

去年一篇文章投稿SCI期刊后,编辑返回修改,其中有条审稿意见为:
1.Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references (e.g. Blevins, 1979: "Formulas for Natural Frequencies and Mode Shapes", or offshore engineering publications); from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous.
不知道这条修改意见是什么意思。

from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous.  【从这个角度来说,该文的科学相关性?/科学适用性 应该更加明显些?】审稿人到底什么意思呢?请教各位大侠。

附审稿人1的意见:
The paper is therefore of practical interest - particularly for engineers working in an industrial context - and is worthy of publication in Ocean Engineering. However, some amendment should be performed prior to publication.
   1.Expression of the added mass/damping coefficients should be given in a non dimensional form, hence highlighting the geometrical/physical parameters of influence - this would clearly give a ground to the proposed simplifications in the application under concern.
   2.Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references (e.g. Blevins, 1979: "Formulas for Natural Frequencies and Mode Shapes", or offshore engineering publications); from that perspective, the scientific relevance of the paper should be made more conspicuous.

如果你认可的话那就看可否增加一些相关的新内容让你的 ...

其实不是这个意思。关于这一条,审稿人说“Calculation of added mass/damping coefficients for FSI problems can be found in numerous references”表明他认为关于added mass/damping coefficients for FSI的计算方法已有很多人作过研究,不是你的独创,所以你在叙述这个问题时不能把别人的相关工作略过不提(说白了,就是不要贪功),即“the scientific relevance of the paper(the paper指别人的相关文章)”。
如果你的方法确实有独创,那么可以把他们的方法提出来进行比较,那样你的独创点将会更为清晰。
