武威市地处河西走廊东端，南依祁连山，北靠内蒙古。境内地形复杂，南高北低。盛行西北偏西风. Wuwei lies at the east end of the Hexi Corridor, with the Qilian Mountains on its south and Inner Mongolia on its north. Its terrain is varied, generally sloping from the south to the north. Within its territory the prevailing winds are from northwest by west. |
