This manuscript describes ****. The data is interesting and adds to our growing knowledge about the ***. However, there are a number of issues with the manuscript, which preclude me from recommending it for publication in Chinese Science Bulletin. Once these issues are addressed, this manuscript would probably be a better fit into another journal more devoted to environmental chemistry, such as water research and water science and technology. Such journals are quality venues that are much suitable for dissemination of this work. A major problem with the manuscript is the ***. There is lack of important information about ***. Also, the adsorbents are observed to have different adsorption potential and further analysis of which property governs adsorption capacity of the adsorbents is necessary. Besides, accuracy and linear range of the method should be described in the text or compared with other techniques such as HPLC and HPLC-MS.
