The cyclic voltammogram of 4-nitrobenzene-diazonium tetrafluoroborate on a Courtauld XAU fiber electrode (Fig. 1a) in aprotic medium (acetonitrile-ACN-+0.1 M NBu4BF4) presents an monoelectronic irreversible wave at a very positive potential (Ep=-0.01 V/SCE), followed by a second wave.
