[资源] JACS最新超分子酶纳米颗粒生物传感器

ABSTRACT: Rapid and sensitive detection of pathogens is a key requirement for both environmental and clinicalsettings. We report here a colorimetric enzymenanoparticleconjugate system for detection of microbial contamination.In this approach, cationic gold nanoparticles (NPs)featuring quaternary amine headgroups are electrostaticallybound to an enzyme [β-galactosidase (β-Gal)], inhibitingenzyme activity. Analyte bacteria bind to the NP, whichreleases the β-Gal and restores its activity, providing anenzyme-amplified colorimetric readout of the binding event.Using this strategy, we have been able to quantify bacteria at con- centrations of 1  102 bacteria/mL in solution and 1  104 bacteria/mL in a field-friendly test strip format.[ Last edited by taozhikai on 2011-7-10 at 22:48 ]
